Scolded by lecturer yesterday due to haven't start any work on my thesis

and yet the fucking coursemate still laugh at me that I have done all my things

What is the point that he purposely mention "SHE WANT TO WRITE THESIS, that y she cannot go anywhere". What's wrong if the people start do to anything, and yet it become a gossip.
